The ARISE Network Adolescent Health Study is a community-based survey of 8075 adolescents aged 10-19 across nine communities in seven sub-Saharan African countries. Conducted between 2015 and 2017, the study aimed to collect data on health-related behaviors and risk factors, covering areas like physical activity, substance use, mental health, sexual behaviors, and more. The results are intended to identify major health risks and disease burdens among adolescents, providing insights for targeted interventions and policy improvements.
